Introductions...

Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself before I get started with writing for my blog.

My name's Paige Lambie, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently in my final year of A Levels in a little town called Driffield.

I’m a huge fan of music, and have been ever since I can remember, so setting up a blog purely dedicated to music seemed like a really awesome idea. One of my biggest dreams in life has always been to work within some aspect of the music industry; music management is what I'm hoping to study at university.

My favourite genre of music is rock, and all sub-genres of rock, so ‘The Music Paige’ will mostly be focused on rock music. The blog will include reviews, updates on the latest music news and lots of posts about my favourite bands (though I promise to try and be as unbiased as possible!)

Some of my favourite bands include LostAlone, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Follow You Home, blink-182, No Doubt, Fearless Vampire Killers, Panic!At The Disco, Misfits and Smashing Pumpkins. I'm a member of the street teams of both LostAlone and Follow You Home, and I'm also involved with a local band named Yeti, who I'm helping to play some more shows in the area. I'm currently teaching myself to play electric guitar too, which I've been wanting to do since I was about 6/7.

So that's a little bit about me. My first few posts will be posts copied from my Wordpress blog (http://themusicpaige.wordpress.com/) and then I'll get on with writing things for both here and my other blog.

Paige
